We accept online donations through Qgiv. Your personal and financial info are safe through this non-profit donation processing system.
You can make donations for specific purposes, or IN HONOR OF or IN MEMORY OF pets, friends, family. Select that option on the donation form, enter an email address for who you would like to receive notice, and personalize a message.

MONEY DONATIONS

C.A.R.E.™ is a 501(c)(3) a volunteer-driven organization.

All donations to C.A.R.E. are tax deductible. C.A.R.E. relies on charitable contributions to finance operating costs, including veterinary bills and medications, as well as to finance longer-term capital costs and projects.

Please make checks payable to C.A.R.E. or Community Animal Rescue Effort.  If you would like to make an In Memory or In Honor of donation, please use this form to provide the information and the address of the household where we can send an acknowledgment of your donation. We will send a hand-written note.

PET TAGS PERMANENT INSTALLATION FUNDRAISER

For a donation of $250, a two-inch pet tag with your inscription will be placed on permanent display in the lobby of C.A.R.E.’s Adoption Center. A pet tag is a great way to honor a beloved friend, relative or pet.

Donate to the Pet Food Pantry

WE ARE ACCEPTING unopened pet food or wish list items at the C.A.R.E. Adoption Center any morning between 9 and 10:30 a.m. Please ring the bell at the front door of 4927 Main St and a volunteer will accept your donation at the door.

Unopened pet food can be dropped off in the collection bins at Pet Supplies Plus Evanston (Dodge and Dempster), Pet Supplies Plus Morton Grove (Dempster at Harlem) or Pet Supplies Plus Lincolnwood (Lincoln Ave South of Touhy).

Please note:
    •    We can only accept unopened bags of food or cat litter, along with canned food.
    •    Food should be no older than a month past its expiration date.
